Job Title: Trailer Mechanic

Our shop is located in Brooklyn Heights, OH.

Job Type:

Full-time; Monday through Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm

Job Description:

As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for repairing and maintaining trailers of various types. Your expertise will help us continue to provide exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their trailers are safe and reliable.

Responsibilities:

• Replace, repair and rebuild trailer bodies, including frames, floors, lights, chassis, brakes, etc. We do not do engine or transmission work.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trailers.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with trailers.
• Ability to use air tools and equipment effectively.
• Basic tool set – sockets, screwdrivers, vice grips, impact, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Strong knowledge of trailer systems, including mechanical and electrical components.
• Experience with welding and fabrication.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
